The purpose of this Practice is to provide designers the component material specifications for instrument piping and tubing systems.
This Practice specifies the piping and tubing system materials for instrument air supply, impulse line purge, pneumatic signal transmission installations and for connecting instruments to process piping and equipment. This Practice does not cover piping and tubing systems for other services.
