MIL MIL-PRF-32471 – Potted Aramid Fiber Strength Member for Navy Lifelines
This specification covers requirements for Navy lifeline strength members, comprising jacketed aramid fiber rope, and potted end fittings with threaded connections, used topside onboard U.S. Navy ships. The term “strength member” is equivalent to the term “terminated cable assembly” used herein and both terms apply to items covered by this specification.
