BS 1703 – Refuse chutes and hoppers. Specification
BS 1703:2005 specifies requirements for gravity transport systems for refuse in multi-storey buildings, consisting of refuse chutes in the form of one or more vertical pipes, complete with hoppers, receiving refuse from successive floors in a building and discharging it into a refuse storage system.
