JIS G 0559 – Steel — Determination of case depth after flame hardening or induction hardening
JIS G 0559:2019 specifies a method of measuring the case depth after flame hardening or induction hardening for steel of, as a rule, over 0.3 mm in thickness (hereafter referred to as the case depth). However, it is applicable to the measurement of case depth of 0.3 mm or under by agreement between the parties concerned.
