This handbook provides implementation guidance for the development of Army publications in Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) in accordance with MIL-UOSTD-UO2361, Department of Defense Interface Standard, Army Digital Publications. This handbook also provides implementation guidance for the use of the Army SGML/XML Registry and Library (ASRL) (see Section 7) and other SGML/XML implementation tools. This handbook is for guidance only and cannot be cited as a requirement.
