SAE AMS1377 – Remover, Paint Epoxy and Polyurethane Paint System Non-Chlorinated Solvent
This specification covers a non-phenolic, non-chromated, thickened paint remover in the form of a solvent-base liquid. This cleaner has been used typically for removing epoxy primer with epoxy polyamide or linear polyurethane paint topcoat from aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys, but usage is not limited to such applications.
