TAPPI T264 – Peparation of Wood for Chemical Analysis
This method describes a procedure for further preparation of wood that has been sampled for analysis in accordance with TAPPI T 257 Sampling and Preparing Wood for Analysis.A method for determination of moisture content in wood is described.Due to the highly hazardous nature of the solvents used in this procedure, the committee is working on a new procedure that will replace this method at a later date utilizing alternative solvents.
